My newest project is document and workflow related rather than signal or image processing.\n\nI'm also working on an amendment to JPEG 2000 Part 8 (Security).\n\nPrior Projects Include:\n\nNetwork transport of compressed imagery. Part of this work is embodied in JPEG 2000 Part 9.\n\nCo-editing the compliance standard for JPEG 2000 (Part 4).\n\nJPEG 2000 standard standard development and software development. I've also promoted the JPEG 2000 standard on my [[JPEG 2000|jpeg2000.html]] page and by [[JPEG 2000 Adoption|jpeg2000adoption.html]] page.\n\nParallel entropy coding (for speed in hardware). This technology was used in several Ricoh copiers and some video game cartridges (back when memory was expensive).\n
